The Kissaluvs terry is "burley terry," a rugged, absorbent terry heavier than most. It's not stiff and scratchy, but neither is it short-loop and sparse like baby-terry. This is serious terry for maximum absorbency! We add no softeners to the fabric, as they would only wash out and inhibit initial absorbency anyway.
